The St. Clair Art Association is excited to announce our newest event, the Kite Art Project! This unique initiative invites artists to transform kites into stunning works of art, culminating in a special reception and silent auction on Saturday, May 17, from 4-7 pm at the SCAA Art Center.
Important Dates:
- Launch: March 1
- Artists can contact SCAA to pick up kites by appointment or during art center hours
- Kites due: May 2
- Reception/auction: Saturday, May 17 (4-7 pm) — Be a Tourist in Your Own Town
Artists will have until May 2, 2025, to create their one-of-a-kind kites. These kites will then be displayed at SCAA and throughout Riverview Plaza before being auctioned off to support SCAA programs.
